Lunar Stew: News

Lunar Fare Thee Well - March 1, 2008

For those of you who are rather chagrined at the e-mail situation, please allow me to apologise. i am however not the sender and have too much respect to do so. I will explain in my missive below....

first let me thank everyone who showed up at the Black Horse Tavern in February, for coming out on such a auspicious night. We rocked the Casaba from 8:15 till 11:15 (out of the ordinance of Shippensburg which says 7-10 are the official music hours!) and had a great night of music (probably our last time, ever?)
Sadly the new management wants 50-75 people to show up for an act or they are a no go. We never commanded big turnouts so Kay Sera.
“The Tipster”, (Jeff Kauffman) is now working towards a new lunar stew (or whatever he would like to call his band) and uncle brother, well my little lunies, i can’t change who i am (an ultimate Fool). Reach me thru this site or e-mail at imunclebrother@yahoo.com.

Watch for great things from Jeff at his new site (please have patience, i know i have). I will keep in touch when my gigs come up. (u.b.’s new web site [iamunclebrother.com] is coming soon). Lunar Stew Cds and T-Shirts are still available, and there is now a new 10 song Cd of “Uncle Brother’s Greatest Hits.”( so how many do you want?)

Let me know how you're doing and i’ll see you in the funny papers.
As ‘Fats’ waller said, “one never knows, do one?).

Always remember: ”The only constant in the Universe is change”, so dance like no one is watching, Love like you never been hurt, sing like no one is listening, live like it’s Heaven on earth...thanks to Samuel Clemens Lao Tzu and all you loving Lunatics...

Love, Light & lots of Laughter...uncle brother.

Lunar Stew please - January 21, 2008

Oh....the weather outside is frightful but inside it's so delightful,
and if you no place to go (you know the rest), please come to see
Lunar Stew at the Black Horse Tavern in Shippen Place, on Friday,
February 1st, from 7:30- 10:30 P.M. (i still got it) see
http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html, for more info.

The lunar lads land for their first gig this winter, so hope to see
the PA Lunies there (and of course all the LunarShippenics).

We have been in hibernation, with seeds planted deep...
Tipster has a new antiwar compilation and u.b.'s greatest hit's is in the pipeline..."from stillness great things come."

Last Full Moon, u.b. was fortunate enough to play with Mitch and
Scotty and Joe on Congas and then on New Year's Eve (also at Allan's)
with Jay and the gang in Guberment Cheese (what fun).

January's Full Moon on tuesday the 22nd, is called the Wolf Moon and
falls on u.b.'s BDay. As all true Aquarians know for sure, the future
(no matter how bad these bozo's pluke things up!!) still looks great
(wait until 12-21-2012).

So keep the faith in 2008 and always remember... from the tiny
mustard seed...
a giant field of pollen festering, sneeze inducing weeds appear
(ain't life grand).

Love, Light and Lot's of Laughter...u.b.

Lunar Glad Tidings - November 21, 2007

lunar stew wishes all of you the best thanksgiving possible (considering the massacre of millions of native americans it's kinda
hard to choke down the turkey sometimes).

The Tipster and u.b. are working on solo projects and will have new
exciting compilations of their tunes soon (airlinetime).
we also have newly designed t-shirts by lealea and they are really
far out (make a great holiday gift).

Our debut as the lunar stew quartet was well received by the
LondonFile crowd at the Market Cross Pub (we kicked ass and took
names!), and it followed the gig for autism with linda coe, bob
anderson and allan smallwood in gettsburg (raised some much needed
capital for a worthy cause).

We are working on new material and beginning a life as a
reggae/funk/good time dance band?
are you ready for new years? want a visit from lunar stew? let me
know...

remember: "living is easy with eyes closed...misunderstanding all you
see"...ah, but to be a fool (is to be aloof)...wow, isn't life
wonderfully wierd?
Who loves ya baby?
i do...that's who!
Love, Light and lots of cranberries (they're good for you)...u.b.

lunar libation - November 1, 2007

Friday, November 2nd, from 7:30-10:30 P.M. and then at Pappy's, on Sunday Nov. 4th, same time, same fun. (not as crazy, tho) One never knows who may show up and help stir the stew, but rumors abound (reality may be fun for some folks, but it really brings me down...huh?).
Come on down and help make our nights, you'll be contributing to the
delinquency of a major.

If you missed the full moon jams...whaz up?
Rainbow Bill celebrated his 60th birthday at the old lunarstewdio, it was heartening to see so many people in attendance to have a ball, play music and pay respect to someone who truly deserves it.

The Shepherd Farm Market was cold and lonely, Luno (that's u.b in drag) played some fun music and got lots of tasty vittels from the
vendors...where the hell were you? (just joshin ya'll)

Next week we do a benefit for Autism on friday the 9th, with Linda Coe, and the new Lunar Stew Quartet will play an opening set for LondonFile on Saturday the 10th...see all you PA Lunatics soon.

Lunar Stew is alive and well and working on some new collections of The tipster and uncle brother's songs...look for those soon. (that's the commercial portion of the show)

Always remember: He who laughs last, laughs best...and obviously
didn't get the joke! And it's better to be a more on than a more off (that's amore'?). (wow...that's only 2/3 a pun).
Love, Light & Little Lotta...u.b.

lunar transits - October 23, 2007

The lunar lander has left the moon and is now orbiting the Earth...are you ready for a visitation?(ooo...scary!)

The Full Moon Jam is at Hipal's this Friday, October 26th, our forth jam in Boonesboro, Md (about 15 minutes from Shepherdstown, Wv, or
Exit 2 off I-81 in Maryland) is bound to be the best yet...it's the Hunter's Moon and also the closest the moon gets to mother earth.
Directions at http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html page...come in costume to sing the Monster Mash with u.b. and all the freeky lunar zombies.

Sunday, October 28th, at Shepherdstown Farm Market, from 11:00 A.M.
until 1:00 P.M. you might find some Moon Rock or perhaps by then a
take over of alien forces may have gone and sucked the brains out of jimmy and the gang and just killed the whole damn thing (like the guy they found frozen in the ice...The Thing!)...we'll all find out together(ooo...scary!!).

Last friday night at Flannery's was a soggy but delightful experience, as our first gig with new drummer Phil went swimmingly.
And as the rain came down in bucketsfull, that statement really makes
sense (one of my few times!). We return for their second anniversary
on December 8th. Amazing fun was had by all when Scott got his golden
fiddle and made the moon rock and roll like totally too cool for school but cool for this fool (say what?).

Sunday at Pappy's, (speaking of cool) as Linda and the Coe-defendants
we were joined in the secong set by Mike Jackson on bass and Steve
Cummings on drums. This allowed u.b. to play guitar (thank you
lord)...what a truly joyous sound. Whomever was in that room from
9:15 until the last song of 'love light' thanked their lucky stars
(especially me!).

Enjoy your All Hollows Eve and All Saints Day too (the yin and yang)
for these are our collective expanding into the unseen dimensions of
Spirit via death (a true misnomer at best for Energy once created
cannot be destroyed only transformed or translated into other forms
of Energy (is u.b. serious?...never!!)
Let me know what you think of it all...
Love, Light (ooo...scary!!!)..u.b.

lunar escapades - October 12, 2007

The Lunar Stew Duo returns to the Shepherdstown Farm Market this Sunday, October 14th, from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. come enjoy a mini fall fiesta.
The new Lunar Stew Trio plays next friday, October 19th, at Flannery's Tavern on the Square, in Mercersberg PA, from 9:00 P.M. - 12:00 A.M. help us welcome Phil Hoover on the drums.
The Lunar Lads have been rehearsing with new members Phil and Dale
and are really excited about the year ahead (hope the world doesn't go to crap too soon).
Rob and Maria's party was unbelievable, lunar Stew joined G-13 and became a giant band of music making monsters. Everyone there had a great time from the partiers to the jammers alike.
The Roving Sign Reunion was killer fun. We began the whole affair and
HexBelt closed it late on Sunday Morn. We missed the Farm Market but
got an opening gig with LondFile on November 10th at the Market Cross
in Shippensburg (oh boy!!).
We have new lunar stew shirts and CD's that are burning a hole in our pockets and if you would like a holloween or X-mas party with the
tew, let me know now.
Remember: Enjoy the Fall, just make sure you pick yourself up
afterwards...and always laugh at Life...otherwise you may never stop crying.
Love, Light & Laughter...uncle brother

lunar return - September 19, 2007

This weekend, on Saturday the 22nd, from 6-8 p.m. the Lunar Stew Trio opens for our friends G-13, as we return to Rob and Maria's fall
festival and birthday party.
Next weekend we are at the Roving Sign Festival on Friday the 28th
from 6-8 p.m. at Seneca Rocks, Wv!). (please see our calender page
for more info and directions to the events at
http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html).
Last weekend at Shippen Place and Pappy's was a real blast from the
past, with T-Roy manning the skins and an appreciative group of small
but mighty lunatics...Thanks to Spence and John and all the others
that came to help stir the stew. We are looking forward to sharing
the stage with some of these talented and inspiring young people. I do hope you can attend next weekends festival...it should be really fantastic. The cost is $30 for the music, parking and camping (such a bargain!).
See you there.
Remember: Life is but a play...and all of us actors on a
stage...write a script that lets you play your role to the hilt and,
oh ya...please play nice...love one another.
Love & Light...u.b.

lunar explorations - September 14, 2007

Been too long my lovely lunies......
This weekend from September 14 thru the 16th: friday, lunar stew
plays at Shippen Place, 7:30-10:30 P.M. (an early gig) and then at
Pappys from 9:00 P.M.- 1:00 A.M (a late gig) and then Sunday morning
at Shepherd Farm Market from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.(a really
really early gig!). See you soon.

You may have noticed a lull in the email action...Let it be known
that u.b. stormed the 40th anniversary of the summer of love and it was unbelievable...to say that we were among the luckiest humans
alive is an understatement. Please check out the web site they set up
for event (you can find it thru the new riders web site) and take a
gander at who was there.

Next weekend lunar stew plays an opening set for G-13 at Rob and
Maria's. Come celebrate the beginning of Autumn. As the seasons
change...
Remember: This is a maya...a constantly changing illusion.
Call it what you will, what you think you eventually become...think
good things my little lunies and have a good life.
love & Light...u.b.

lunar landscaping - August 22, 2007

All thing shall come to pass..build it and they will come...the more
things change, the more they remain the same...
On Saturday the 25th, from 8:00 until 10:00 (or ?) the Lunar Stew
Duo flashes forward to 'a Little Bit of New York'. It's a new
internet cafe located on main street in Berkeley Springs. Come take a
trip with LSD in the house...some really nice food and atmosphere to
be had (and some groovy tunes from yours truly). As always, musical
friends (chris are you out there?) are always welcome...And speaking
of welcome (what a segue) Pappy's welcomes back Linda Coe and her
Coe-existers on Sunday the 26th..from 7:30 P.M. until 10:30 P.M. have fun with Linda.
On Monday, the 27th, the full moon jam rises to it's heights at
Hipal's in Boonesboro...once again as a thanks for your support and
all the love.
Speaking of which...Sunday the 2nd in Golden Gate Park a celebration
of the 40th anniversary of the Summer of love...lealea and u.b. will be in attendance to represent the lunatics and help spread the
word...love.
Shepherd Market was kick ass (u.b got in trouble for being too loud!)
as we turned into an ultra-cool jazz duo.
September should be very exciting for the Lunar Lads so stay
tuned...and check out the new dates on our calendar page
http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html
Remember:Those who say, don't know...those who know, don't say.
and...
Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and
remove all doubt...
Lord help me...
Love & Light & Laughter... u.b.

lunar excursion - August 16, 2007

this Sunday, August 19th, Lunar Stew Duo (LSD) trips into the
Shepherdstown Farm Maraket from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Come
experience the grocers with the mosters...get organic produce and
lots of Flower Power for the peeps. Mojitos follow at the Meck, see
ya' soon.
Friday the 24th, is still canceled, but hope is still alive for an event to spring up and take it's place. Do you have the courage to have a lunar landing at your abode?...let me know soon!
Saturday the 25th, is an LSD experience at 'a Little Bit of New York from 8-10 P.M.
u.b. is floating on his back in Myrtle Beach and wishes you could all
be here to enjoy the brown skinned beauties and the palm trees.
Last Friday at the Black Horse was a night we won't forget. It was an
impromtu performance from LSD as we were sans drummer. Special Ed had chosen to play with Chef Eric, and so we bid adue to another member of the Stew. Fairwell and rest in pieces (it's an old joke, fans).
Remember: This is not a dress rehearsal (line please)...
go for it!!!
Love & Light...u.b.

Lunar Landings - August 7, 2007

This Friday, August 10th, Lunar Stew rides back into the Black Horse Tavern at Shippen Place, in Shippensburg, PA. A great little location with good food and vibes. Sunday the 12th, we’re defendants behind Linda Coe at Pappy’s in Waynesboro, Pa. Both shows are 7:30 – 10:30 P.M. affairs. See our calendar page for more info.
Times are approximate in Lunartopia (hey, it’s all relative, isn’t it?

We are performing at Soundquilt 7 at 7:00 P.M. Friday August the 24th. This year takes place at a private farm in Strasburg, Va…you are interested in attending, camping and the like, please let me know and I will try and get you on the list. It is free (although there are many costs, so donations are gladly accepted) and there are only 200 spots (counting the bands) to camp and party for two days, let me know soon.

Saturday’s show at the Morgan County Fair was warmly received (it was hotter than hell!). We sang ‘We the People’ and felt lucky not to be run out of town on a rail(it is still in the local laws!!). Good thing Special Ed is so big, we felt safe (just kidding Ed).
We also had enough major league lunatics in attendance with Lealea, Mike, Vickie, Beth, Steve, Aila, Jack and Jill (really) and Nancy and the Hot house gang (like Cool and the gang), they balanced out the countless minions waiting for the next band and the fireworks that followed (whew!!!).

Sunday in Shepherdstown saw the return of the Lunar Stew Duo…aka LSD. As you know, a little LSD goes along way with most people, but with the Tipster and uncle brother, it is just the beginning of a trip to the Moon on gossamer wings (ya, sure).
We are getting absolutely wonderful posters (suitable for framing) from Allan, and they will soon be available for you to trip home with. We also have new tye-dyes that are the
bees knees, at our gigs and on-line too (ask me, i will score one for you).

Ready for a solar concert in an exotic location of your choice…are you up for a lunare adventure?...got some ideas and money? (one with out the other is ok, but both are necessary to pull it off). Let u.b. know what you have in mind and he can get you onto the lunar calendar.

Remember: When Life hands you lemons (see if Life does windows, too), have some fun and learn to juggle.
Love, Light & lots of Laughter (it sweetens the other two)…u.b.

Lunar Stewing in the Heat - August 3, 2007

Augustus Caesar Says:
Et tu, lunatics? August smolders in with Lunar Stew (and special
friends?) at the Morgan County Fair (think i finally got it right)
this Saturday the 4th, with a 7:00 P.M. performance at Widmeyer
Elementary School along side Route 522, just south of Bezerkeley
Springs. Come support the Stew as we blow the lid off the American
pontification of the World (ya' sure).
Sunday the 5th, Lunar Stew Duo (LSD) lands at the Shepherdstown Farm Market from 11:00 A.M. until
1:00 P.M. Lot's of nice people and
stuff plus Mojito's after the gig (cool).

Next weekend, friday August 10th, LST returns to the Black Horse
Tavern in Shippensburg, PA from 7:30 - 10:30 P.M. and then to Pappy's on Sunday the 12th, for another really rockin' evening with
Linda Coe (really...trust me).
Our calendar page has all the details and directions.
http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html

Like to book a party with the Stew? Contact u.b. asap for our available dates.

Well another full weekend passed for the lunatics and yours truly...
Howl at the Moon was an unbelievable affair with great food and people too...Denny Mickley ran fantastic sound and similar to the
Healing Waters gathering of a week prior, the Stew's music spiced up
an already wonderful event at an absolutely beautiful sight (am i
gushing, or what?). Linda Coe and Rich Cardy joined us.
Can't wait until next year (and can't thank David and Connie and Tom
and Doreen, enough!!).

Pappy's was amazing energy, you simply must come and experience it
yourself (good mojo).

The Full Moon jam followed at Hipal's and it was more fun than
turtles (hey...i've given puppies and kittens all the press they need). Lots of lunatics (of the highest order) in Pete and Deb, Doc
and Josh, Maria and Renee's fiddlin friend (good player)... we had a nice cast and crew.
Blues Rick and Chef Eric graced us with their music and Brian played
his congas as well. The food and location were great, much
appreciation to Hipal and Renee for all their hard work.

Don't miss the next one to take place at the same location on August 27th (another monday). See you all soon.

Remember: Truth sayers are better than Soothsayers...Thanks Magic
Hat...and "keep your stick on the ice...we're all in this together."
Red Green (plagiarism is alive and well, and living in Lunar
Land...fini).
Love, Light & Laughter...u.b

Lunar Lightheadedness - July 27, 2007

A minute to lighten the Lunarsee...

What a weekend for the lunar lads, we have our annual Howl at the
Moon Party on Saturday and Pappy's on Sunday (the 29th) concluding
with the Full Moon Jam on Monday the 30th, at Hipal's place outside
of Boonesboro, MD (not that far from Pappy's, really).
Bring your axes (and ex's) and you can even camp out if you wish, so
it should be a blast.
Check our calender page for Hipal's directions if you interested in
attending, you can also contact u.b. @ 800-MAC-SONG.

LST parted the waters at the Healing Waters Gathering and then LSD was in full swing last sunday at the Shepherdstown Farm Market and on tuesday night performed a small but smokin' set at the Bangkok Blues Club in Falls Church, VA where they were joined by uncle brothers old (and renewed) friend Ron Goad.
He is a talented percussionist and drummer who played in the uncle brother band in the mid 90's and who was very instrumental in our appearance. So many great songwriters and performers made for a wonderful night with Tai food too!

Hope to see you soon, LST has plenty happening in August, with a new venue in Bezerkeley Springs that needs our music and your support.

Check our calendar page for more up and coming lunar doings @
http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html

You are my rock and i'll keep rolling along as long as possible...but...
Remember: Longevity without Health is not good.
Smiling and laughing and dancing (and howling at the moon!)...keeps
you healthy and happy (don't forget to have a little chocolate and
sex!).
Love & Light & Loads of Laughter..u.b.

Lunar tripping - July 19, 2007

Tomorrow, Friday, July the 20th the original Lunar Stew Trio will perform at the
Healing Waters Gathering in Capon Bridge, West by Dog
from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and then we can party with the lunatics.
Sunday the 22nd, Lunar Stew Duo lands at the Shepherdstown Farm
Market from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M...join us for Mojito's after the gig.
New Lunar Stew Tie dyed T-Shirts and our Cd's are
available at the shows and they are thrilling to behold (and to be held).
More info and a link to Cecilfest (the gathering this weekend) are found at http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html.
Last Sunday at Pappy's was much fun with a small crowd but mighty fine energy in the room and some nice compliments from Pappy
himself.

The Full Moon Jam on Monday, July 30th, will be held at Hipal's (Allan to many of you). It is is the Boonesboro area and directions are available on request. Camping is available at this beautiful location. Let me know and your in like Flynn(who's old enough to know what that means?).
Next weekend is Howl at the Moon...so please, if you know Dave and Connie come join us and howl at the moon!

Remember: The Porpoise of Life, is to have a Whale of a Time...and Life is a Beach...and then you dry.
Love, Light and Lot's of Laughter...your uncle brother

lunar crooning - July 14, 2007

Tis' a truly festive time of year and all is going swimmingly. However, it is getting to be hotter than hell...As Hamlet would say, "to dry...to heat no more, ah...tis a consummation devoutly to be wished." (or something like that)

This Sunday, the 15th, Linda Coe and the Coe-defendants play at Pappy's Pub in Waynesboro with T-Roy on drums and who knows whom on
what else (pretty definite stuff, eh?). Times are 7:30-10:30.

Next week on Friday, July 20th, the original LST is playing the Healing Waters Gathering in Capon Bridge, West Va, (sorry for any confusion with the location) and tickets (200 limit) are still available. Let u.b. know if you want to attend and get more info and directions from the link at our calendar page http://www.lunarstew.com calendar.html

Would you like to host the full moon jam on Monday the 30th? let me
know now before the ultimate decision is made.

Linda and the Coe-defendants rocked the Fairgrounds on the 4th, and took know prisoners (we only play for the smartest folks) at Helen's party last saturday. We were joined by Bob Anderson on slide and lead guitar, Allan Smallwood on keys, trumpet and harps and Chris on
congas. Great fun with a sizzling sextet.
If you haven't got our newest release yet check it out at

light worker? hurry and check this out...http://www.firethegrid.com/

lunar liveliness - July 6, 2007

On Friday afternoon, July 20th, the original Lunar Stew Trio will be
playing their special brand of Moon Rock at the Healing Waters
Gathering in Cacapon Bridge, West by Dog. We are performing from 5:00
- 7:00 P.M. The music starts at 1:00 P.M. and the headliner for the
two days is Laidback. 10 bands in all, tickets are only $30.00 and
limited to two hundred people. The festival is on a private farm with
camping along the river, some pretty great music plus loads of fun
with friends. directions and more info can be found at
www.cecilfest.com. I have tickets if you wish, let me know.

This weekend the Lunar Lads with their ol' friend T-Roy are playing
for the fine folks at Helens and then take a hiatus next weekend for
their own fun and frivolity (hey even we need to relax every now and
then!).

Our last Full Moon Jam on Saturday night was a small affair
(sometimes the best kind!) with Funkdog as our third, u.b. got a
chance to play steel pedal licks like one his hero's David Nelson.

Friday played outside at the Black Horse doing two kickin' sets that
had lunatics landing from rooftops while assisting the group to
greatness.

And speaking of greatness (what a segue) thursday night was an
amazing experience and one that everyone in the Strasburg Theater
(especially if you hung out for the New Riders second set) will never
forget. I know i won't...opening for a group as wonderful as the NRPS
and having the 150 to 200 delirious participants made uncle brother
about as happy as a lunatic can be. Thanks to everyone who made the
trip on a weeknight and extra kudos to all the helpful lunatics that
made the event one we will all remember as one of the best concerts in years. Shanti to all of you.

And a hearty lunar welcome to all the new lunatics getting their
first email from u.b. check out the old ones for a past history (or
is that her-story?) at http://www.lunarstew.com/

Lunar Si, Lunar Do - June 27, 2007

It's the good ol' summer time and the Lunar Lads are hotter than help
me.
Thursday (tomorrow) June 28th, we are in an air conditioned theater
opening for our heros the New Riders...if you don't know this by now you are either getting your first e-mail or you've been livin' in
Reseda (thanks Frank).
Friday, June the 29th, we return to the Black Horse Tavern in
Shippensburg, from 7:30 -10: 30 P.M. and on Sunday the First of July,
at Pappy's with Linda and Bob Anderson from about 8:00 - 11:00.
June the 30th the full moon is at Al's House . Are you interested in
comin? let me know and i'll tell you where it's at. See our calender
page for more info http://www.lunarstew.com/calendar.html
Uncle brother has been on a whirl wind tour of the four state area
and is still looking for a place to light for awhile, got any ideas?
And always remember..."Life would be tragic without Magic"....and
"those who race will miss Life's Grace." (if i drink enough beer
you'll get sayings forever!)
See you real soon...
Love, Light & Lot's of Laugh's...u.b.

lunar sightings - June 21, 2007

They say you can't beat a dead horse, but i will prove them wrong...
especially when the horse is the ever famous white horse Mescalito.

Can you tell i'm a little excited?...i mean, is me or is the whole
East Coast talking about it? Ok...it's just me, and maybe you, but
that's enough...see you next Thursday the 28th, at the Strasburg
Theater (like you didn't already know) for the most fun night of the
millennium (no superlatives in this dude). Can you believe it?...The
New Riders of the Purple Sage and you know who...LST!!! We could
still use your help getting the word out, thanks so much to everyone
who has helped...nuff said.

This Sunday the 24th, uncle brother and (one never knows, do one?)
will be at the Farm Market in Shepherdstown, WV, between 10:00 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. This follows a performance in Cedar Lake, West by Dog (in the Ripley area), of my show "This is Rock 'n' Roll" (tell you all about it next time).

Last Sunday, u.b. performed in the sweltering heat at the very same
Farm Market for an appreciative crowd of Father Day patrons...later
that night at Pappy's the Coe-defendants rocked the house with Linda, while leaving no arm hair in sight unraised (what the?).

The Solstice has the longest sunlight of the year. We now move
steadily towards darkness. Remember in Spirit, All is Light...In this Reality or Maya (constantly changing Illusion) we are here to get
dirty (Schmutzig) and funky (from the Ki-Kongo expression L' FuKi,
meaning Positive Sweat). That's right baby, i said sweaty...Can you
dig it?...I know you can.
The Chinese character for Music, is the exact same one for Happiness
See you soon,
Love, Light & Lots of Laughs...u.b.

lunar lazy days - June 10, 2007

This weekend was an off-time for the Lunar Lads as they are prepare the musical soil for the future. The Tipster is setting up the new Lunarstewdio and u.b. is working on their next gigs...to do or not to do...that is a question? Requests for summer dates are coming in (yay!) so if you have an interest is having the Stew at your shindig, crazy goin’s on, or big hoopdeedo...let u.b. know now and we’ll come play some marvellous moon rock for you.

Lunar Stew is scheduled to play at the Shepherdstown Farm Market on Sunday the 24th, only four days before the big show at the Strasburg Theater on Thursday the 28th, with the New Riders of the Purple Sage. We could sure use your help in distributing flyers and putting up a poster in your area. Let me know if you would like to help and i will send you materials.

This is going to be the most exciting night of music since David took the rock and rolled the giant! A beautiful theater that has great food (Greek and American too) and a wonderful atmosphere for a party with the ones you love. Tickets are available at the Strasburg on-line, and for a discount at our gigs. Rooms at the Ramada are available if you would like, just let me know (i have connections!).

and now back to our program...last Saturday the Lunar mobile wheeled into Martinsburg and set up in front of a chocolate shoppe (is that cool or what?)...two hours and ten pounds later they left a trail one half mile long behind them...(hey i can dream can’t i?). Pappy's on the next night was a blast, good music and lots of friends.

Remember...What you resist, persists. What you can accept, you can en-joy (put joy into). As we move into Summer, the season of Fire and the Heart, we work on detached acceptance, patience, and fostering a gentle joy in life.
True Unconditional Love is the Loving Law of Allowance. To allow all things (and people) simple to be as they are (good luck).

To all the loving lunatics...
live long and prosper...u.b.
